Is it me alone? It can be isolating. Saksham is a community where a person with type1 diabetes can meet others with the same issues and share their problems and solutions to those problems!

The first Saksham meet-June 2012. A room vibrant with authentic conversations, filled us with a promise of real connection and led to a dream which we are still trying to realise- A dream of a healthy, meaningful lives for all type 1 diabetes people. Looking back helps us realise that we have come a long way. We may not have reached where we dream to be, but we are a long way from where we started. The faces around me have changed, some familiar ones I don’t see anymore, but new faces smiling with enthusiasm and optimism tell me its worth moving forward.
